The tins are delivered directly to your home under the following conditions:
- Subscription pack for 30g tins: monthly delivery
- Subscription pack for 100g tins: delivery every 3 months (1 tin per quarter)
1. Place 1 teaspoon (1 to 2 grams) of matcha in your cup, then add 70 ml of hot water (but not boiling water; we recommend water at 70 degrees).
2. Use a bamboo whisk or an electric whisk to mix until a fine foam forms on the surface.
3. Enjoy your Matcha hot or iced, with or without milk – it's ready!
The first time you use your bamboo whisk, we recommend soaking it in a bowl of hot water for 2 minutes to soften it.
To prepare your matcha: whisk your mixture of water and matcha powder in W-shaped motions in the bottom of your bowl. When a fine foam begins to appear, your matcha is ready!
Our matcha is harvested in Mie Prefecture, a mountainous region of Japan.
All orders placed before 1:00 PM will be shipped the same day.
Due to the volume of orders placed during certain restocking periods, lead times may be slightly longer.
We offer a rare variety of matcha that accounts for just 1% of Japan’s matcha production: the Okumidori variety.
Organic certification is very expensive in Japan, which is why no producer offering these quantities has been able to afford it to date. We have nevertheless ensured that no treatments were applied to the plantation by having our matcha tested at an independent laboratory in Germany. No treatments were detected during these tests, and we will repeat them for each harvest.

No, we use only the Okumidori cultivar in all of our flavours.
The more finely a matcha is ground, the better it is considered to be. We have chosen to grind our matcha extremely finely, whilst working it in such a way that it blends easily.
Nevertheless, we strongly recommend using our bamboo whisk or electric whisk when preparing your matcha.
You can certainly prepare your matcha without our accessories, but the texture will be less smooth and a few lumps may form.

Our tins are made entirely in Japan.
Each Milia Matcha tin is meticulously filled, weighed and sealed just a few hours after the matcha has been ground to a powder, to preserve its freshness and flavour.

Milia Matcha has chosen to have its flavourings custom-made to perfectly suit its matcha recipe.
Our bamboo whisk is made in China, where 99% of the world's bamboo tools are produced. There are still a few artisans making traditional bamboo whisks in Japan, but their selling price in France easily exceeds €70.
Yes, after the first two billing cycles, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your account.

Our Milia Matcha© Ceremonial Matcha is a blend made 100% from the finest Okumidori plantations, one of the rarest tea varieties. It accounts for only a few percent of Japan’s total matcha production.
One level teaspoon of matcha (1 gram) is enough to make a cup of matcha. If you prefer a stronger flavour, we recommend increasing the amount to 2 grams per cup.
