Matcha tea is 10x richer in antioxidants than conventional green tea, helping to boost the immune system and reduce inflammation. The presence of chlorophyll also helps eliminate toxins.
Okumidori is renowned and prized in Japan for its smoothness, lack of bitterness, and naturally sweet flavor. Due to the demanding nature of its cultivation, this variety accounts for only a very small percentage of Japanese matcha production, making it a rare and exceptional cultivar.
Milia Matcha makes no concessions when it comes to the quality and origin of its matcha tea. Every stage of production is carried out exclusively in Japan: matcha, flavouring and packaging. Each production run is tested by the independent Eurofins laboratory, which guarantees that our products are totally free from pesticides.
Our range is made up of Ceremony matcha teas with different flavours: Vanilla, White Chocolate, Strawberry and Cherry. We've created our recipes with the aim of producing very subtly flavoured matcha teas, our wish being to preserve the authenticity of matcha without altering it. Each flavour is tailor-made in Japan.
We have chosen to work with a grower who has been based in Mie prefecture for 62 years, and who himself inherited the plantation from his father and grandfather before him. By working with a single producer, we guarantee total traceability: each leaf is grown, harvested and then processed into matcha directly on site, with no intermediaries.
Milia Matcha the Rêves charity to help make the dreams of seriously ill children and teenagers come true. For every order placed on our website, we donate €0.50 to the charity. Since Milia Matcha was founded, we have donated €75,000 to the Rêves charity.
All our matcha comes from the Okumidori cultivar, a 100% Japanese ceremonial matcha tea grown and milled in Japan.
Made from 100% Okumidori matcha tea, this makes it a naturally vegan drink.
Our flavoured matcha is simply infused with our bespoke flavours developed in Japan. They contain no sugar or sugar derivatives, additives, sweeteners, aspartame or any other additional ingredients.
The variety we have chosen is renowned for its lack of bitterness, its naturally sweet taste and its smoothness.

One level teaspoon of matcha (1 gram) is enough to make a cup of matcha. If you prefer a stronger flavor, we recommend increasing the amount to 2 grams per cup.

1. Place 1 teaspoon (1 to 2 grams) of matcha in your cup, then add 70 ml of hot water (but not boiling water; we recommend water at 70 degrees).
2. Use a bamboo whisk or an electric mixer to whisk until a fine foam forms on the surface.
3. Enjoy your Matcha hot or iced, with or without milk – it's ready!
